'Manatarang' in Sanskrit means 'Ripples of the Mind'. Every individual experiences ripples in the mind which could be related to thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and actions as a result of various situations in life. These ripples have an impact on mental well-being and in turn, affect the quality of life.
'Counselling' is a process that aids you to express your inner thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to a Professional who listens, empathises, and provides perspectives which guide you to connect with yourself, and empower you to explore the positive possibilities in given circumstances.

My desire, passion and commitment to create awareness and promote the Mental health (Psychological, Emotional and Social well-being) of people in society, motivated me to start 'Manatarang Counselling' in 2016.
Having done my Master's in Clinical Psychology (India) and Vocational Graduate Diploma in Counselling - Family Therapy (Australia); I have an experience of 7 years in the Mental Health sector.
I have done certification in Music Therapy from the Nada Center, India, and have many other credentials in the domain of Mental Health as I believe "learning never stops".
Having worked as a Counselling Psychologist, Behaviour Therapist, Music Therapist and Family Therapist in India; I have provided services to over 700 clients, both as a private practitioner and being associated with schools and a special school.
I have also been conducting regular workshops and talks on Mental Health, Women's mental health, Teenage/Adolescence, and Music Therapy; and presented and published papers.
Providing Psychological Counselling services to children, adolescents, women, couples and families, using an integrated and holistic therapeutic approach, has been my area of expertise. Currently, I am providing Virtual Counselling services in Australia and India to adolescents, women and couples. Maintaining ethical standards of practice, I keep myself updated by taking part in Continuing Professional Development programs and attending regular Supervision.
